The Guardian GSS™ (Rifle Insert Spall Sleeve) is optimally designed to mitigate spall and frag from steel armor rifle inserts.    

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Protection: Rifle insert sleeve designed to reduce spall fragments from ballistic impact, spall sleeve does NOT provide ballistic protection
  • Fitting: Rear/bottom opening for easy loading of rifle inserts
  • Areal  Density: 0.75 psf/AD for ballistic material
  • Thinness: 0.15″ or 4mm
  • Material: Enhanced blend of woven aramid fibers
  • 400D Polyurethane coated fabric enclosure for moisture resistance
  • Multi-hit capabilities
  • Warranty: 1 year on exterior cover material and workmanship
  • Recommended to pair with the Guardian AR500 and Guardian AR1000 rifle plates
  • NOTE: THIS PRODUCT IS A SPALL SLEEVE ONLY AND DOES NOT INCLUDE BALLISTIC INSERTS.
